ex-fiance wants money

ex of 2yrs wants money he paid for items/crdit cards ect while we were together. I also made payments on rv/car/boat from my account. nothing in writing on either side of repay. can he sue?

It is not clear whether "your ex" is your ex husband or your ex boyfriend.

If he was your husband, the court will examine these payment questions as part of a divorce action. Generally there would only be credit for funds spent after you two separated.

If you were not married, either of you can sue the other for payments made during the relationship. It is called a "Marvin Action," named after the Marvin Supreme Court case. If the amounts in dispute are less than $7,500, the Marvin action could be brought in Small Claims Court.
