Legal Question in Family Law in California

should i have him file something

I am in the process of moving back to Florida from LA with my son. My husband says that he is okay with our son moving and living with me 100%, but I would like to cover all ends. Is there a form i should have him sign before i move back and file in Florida?

Re: should i have him file something

You should, w/out a doubt, have a stipulated (agreed to) judgment and/or court order filed in any dissolution/paternity/etc. action presently existing in court.

If no action exists at this; then AT MINIMUM get such an agreement drafted and notarized by your ex- to be ---making sure it discloses and he agrees it is to serve as temporary consent by him.

I ADVISE YOU FORMALIZE EVERYTHING IN A COURT ACTION B/4 GOING... once filed you can sek such an order w/in at most a 48 hour period...

GET AN ATTY... OR GO TO COURTHOUSE AND SPEAK W/ THE FAMILY LAW FACILATATOR...
