Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have filed for legal seperation, but can no longer afford my attorney to continue with the court hearings. I am okay with putting things on hold with the exception of coming to an agreement on family support and child visitation. My husband and I have completed in writing an agreement on support and visitation.

Can I have this notarized and submitted to the court as an attachment of the seperation? I would then resume the other necessary items to be determined once I am able to resume legal representation.

Or, is it better to have itt notarized and not submit to the court? Seems doing it this way would put me at risk should my husband decide to stop paying support.

You need to do things properly and in court. So, go to the Self-Help Center at the courthouse, and they can help you.
