Finalizing a Divorce

How soon after filing for divorce, will my divorce be finalized so that I can re-marry?

A divorce takes 6 months in the state of Califoria if non-contested. Otherwise, divorces can drag out for several years until property and child issues are settled.

No sooner than 6 months after the other party was served. It could take longer though.
