Legal Question in Family Law in California

my husband and I got a divorce and the judgement stated that he was to sell the property we owned and give me my part within the year. He failed to do that and just recently he passed away. Is there anything I can do?

Not only can, but must. Someone needs to open a probate case. Then you need to work with the executor of the estate and his heirs to sell the house and get you his share.

I don't agree with Mr. McCormick. The estate needs to get you your share, not his share. You don't get his share, because you got divorced.
