Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex husband was found guilty of physically abusing his girlfriend's son. He is now not allowed any contact with the little boy and the mother only receives supervised visitation. My ex has court ordered visitation with my daughter (he is not her legal father or bio father) but gets her every other weekend because he has been there since she was born. My daughter has not been abused so what are chances of getting his visits taken away or at least supervised? I don't support his visitation or the fact that he is still around and have told the courts of his temper and violence since our custody battle began last year but they did not listen to me. It is sad that this happened to this little boy and I don't want it to happen to my daughter too.

That would at least seem like a changed circumstance warranting putting it in front of a judge.
