Ex husband seeking modification

My ex husband remarried about 5 yrs ago. He is now having another child, how badly will this affect my child support now for our 2 children, since he also won't help pay for anything extra?

Except in the case of extreme hardship there is no change in child support based upon a new child that is born. If your child support order is 5 years old you should look at modifying the order. It is probable that you could receive an increase. Contact an attorney who does child support to get an opinion. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
