Legal Question in Family Law in California

legal questions

To whom it may concern.

Please help me to answer my questions.

We are living together for more then 10 years and have 2 kids together. Last two years we went to Las Vegas to have our official marriage certificate. Now the questions is that when we devorce. How would the money divided? We have some join account and both of us also have a seperate account (just one person's name). So when we divide our money, how are we going to calculate that?.

Q #1: is there such a law saying that living together for # of years then all the money we made divided evenly (50/50)? (we're living in California)

Q #2: What about the money we made in the last 8 years before the legal marriage cert. come along? will that amount get divided 50/50 as well?

Q #3: So in the last 2 year of legal marriage, all the money we made are divided 50/50. What if my husband have put some of the money he made aside, not in our join account, then how would I get part of that money?

Thanks you so much for your help. I am thinking of getting of a bad relationship. but before I do that, I would like to get myself prepare.... Thanks in advance....
