how long does the custodial parent have to provide non custodial parent with medical bills

For as long as the custodial parent wants the non-custodial parent to contribute to the cost. Also, if the parents have joint legal custody with physical custody to the custodial parent, the custodial parent does not necessarily have to provide bills, but does have to notify and obtain the consent of the non-custodial parent for medical procedures.
