Legal Question in Family Law in California

in los angeles county do you have to refile custody papers if you didnt turn in proof the papers were served 9 months ago. Or can you still bring in the proof your babies father was served with his papers even though it has been 9 months?

you can turn in the proof of service whenever. It may not be timely but it will be proof he was served.
