Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can I move out of state?

I share joint legal and joint physical custody of my son with myself as the primary custodial parent. I am wanting to move to Montana, will this require another court appearance? What are my chances of being able to move my son that far away from his father? I am more than willing to fly my son for monthly visits. Can he fight me for this and me lose?

This is called a move away case. There are very specific things that you will need to do in order to get the Court to allow you to move with your son to Montana. I highly suggest you give me a call for a free consultation. I do family law cases in Bakersfield. My family law website is located at www.divorce-legal.net
