petition of a parent

i just want to asked you guys if there is a possibility that my daughter who is only 15 years old to petition me as her legal guardian in the US since she's still underage. I am the legal mother, and what are the necessary things that she needs to do to petition me to take care of her since she is only living with her step dad?

You have not provided sufficient information to receive a response to your question. If the child presently living in the US? Where is she and the stepfather living? Why is she living with the stepfather? Where is her father? To get an answer to your question you should take all the of court documents and the above information to an attorney for an evaluation of your situation and the options.
