Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am the petitioner in a dissolution preceding. My soon to be ex-spouse has legal representation. Is he required to pay for mine too sine I can not provide it? I am unemployed and have no more unemployment checks coming my way.

You may be entitled to more than assistance with your legal fees. Temporary spousal support may also be available to you.
