Legal Question in Family Law in California

On the QUITCLAIM DEED form, I wrote the DOCUMENTARY TRANSFER TAX as $0.00. Underneath this field there are two choices, computed on full value of property conveyed and the computed on full value less value of liens or encumbrances remaining at time of sale. What are the definitions of each of these? Is it necessary to check one of these boxes? Can both boxes be unchecked?

Did you sell your interest in the property? If you did, the documentary transfer tax should not be 0. Is this a transfer as part of a dissolution of marriage? It is not clear of the circumstances that lead to this quit claim deed which would help us attorneys answer your question.
