Responsibilty of 3rd party in divorce

When husband is pursuing mistress can wife sue mistress for damages or money? What rights does this mistress have, if any?

There is no cause of action against the mistress under Califronia law. The mistress has no rights.

These claims have been tried recently with a lot of fanfare but no success. The mistress does not have rights (unless perhaps she was promised things and relied on these promises), and the spouse does not have the right to sue the mistress for breaking up the marriage.
