Can my son petition for his ex gf who is 8 months pregnant to have her blood drawn to see if he is the father instead of waiting until the baby is born ?

The problem with filing a petition now is that it would probably take more than one month to get into court. He can file his petition to determine paternity now and request a blood test, but it will take weeks, probably a couple of months to get to court to get the order.

They don't do blood tests anymore. They do DNA swabs. That said, until the baby is born, there is nothing to match to. THAT said, I agree that with court congestion, get the petition on file now and the tests on all three can be done once the baby is born.
