My 14 year old has requested to live with me, her father. There are several reasons. can a child at a certain age request to live with the other parent?

A child can ask at any age. However, the child cannot choose which the parent they reside with. A child at 14 can state a preference and the court will give it some consideration, but that will not control the courts decision.
