temporary guardianship of minor child
Can you offer a free downloadable form or any special information I need to know for caring for my friends' child while they are incarcerated or absent due to legal problems?

The official way to be able to care for the child is to do a guardianship and custody order through the probate court. There may be a more informal way that will work, but that's the "real" way.
