Legal Question in Family Law in California

My wife's family started 3 companies while where we married. They sent her operating agreements to sign as a member. I legally have those agreement with her name and directions to sign but no signature. Government documents show she was a manager in at least one. She worked on those companies for 10 years during the marriage. Those companies eventually sold real estate holdings and moved the assets to a trust in the parents name for my wife to inherit later. They claim all of the documents were thrown out. They claim my wife was never an owner or a manager. My wife says she knows nothing about it. They have been served discovery.
