Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

How do I get the Incurance Company to pay what it owes for a fender bender?

I was rear ended. I was not hurt in the accident, but

my car is not doing so well. Cosmetically, it has a

broken tail light, and a bent bumber, but after the

accident, my breaks are making funny noises, and

allignment seems to be off, the stiring wheel shakes

when I drive. The insurance company called me and

said they were going to send out an apriaser, and that

I didn't need my machanic to look at it. I am very

afraid they are going to low ball me, and my car isn't

going to get the repairs it needs.

Is there anything I can legally do, besides getting a

lawyer and suing them, to make sure that my car gets

the repairs it needs, and not just the ones they say

it needs?

You need to go to small claims court.
