Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

my son damaged some property when he was 17. the court ordered me to pay restitution. after my son was 18 the compaintaints sued use both in superrior court. am i still responsible for what he did as a juvunel after he turns 18? if so how can they sue him as an adault for what happened as a juvanile? they got the judgment. it doesn't sound right to me. i made the payments on the original restitution. but missed a few . it was a very large amount. i did not break any laws in this hole thing, but today i got an order of judgment against me 8 years after the fact in the amount of $96,000 + 10% interest until paid.

It appears that a judgment against you has been entered. This being the case it will be difficult to get relief. Consult with an attorney immediately to determine if the judgment and the default can be set aside. There may be other possible routes to some relief that could be seen by examining the complaint and judgment.
