Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I was a tenant with a peculiar landlord for 3 years. Last month, out of no where, he goes to visit my sister. He proceeds to tell her I am a drug addict and am in fact dealing drugs out of his rented room. There is NO evidence to support this accusation, Or, at least one they will NOT discuss with me. He has turned my sister and family against me. I continue to ask her what actual proof she has that would make her believe him. I dont know what to do with this. None of it is true.

You clearly have problems if they believe him over you. You could try to get everyone to meet together and discuss the situation, but the will likely refuse and how are you going to prove to them a negative? You will perhaps have to undergo drug testing.
