Legal Question in Health Care Law in California

Signing legal documents on behalf of a spouse who has become blind

Is there a law that allows a spouse to sign legal and financial documents on behalf of a spouse who has become blind? If so, what is that law? Secondly, how is the ''signature'' in this instance executed?

A notary can help you with this issue. A notary can allow you to sign the document and verify that the signature is yours, and that you signed it for your blind spouse. Your blind spouse will need to be present.
