Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

immigration

i am a citizen and my father just got green card 6 months ago.he is 78, and has very advanced parkinson's disease, to an extent that he needs 24/7 care for his feedings and personal care.He is not eligible for in home support services.

Is it possible to have a caregiver come to US from a country like india or Pakistan? If so, how?

Re: immigration

Of course you can sponsor someone directly for greencard to be a caregiver for your father. But it will be a while before they can come here. If the candidate is from India it will take even longer. To bring the caregiver sooner, you can try H2 visa...but I am not sure that will fly.
