Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

can I move to the US with my mom

Dear Sir / Madam;

I am 28 years old unmarried boy living in the India. I am a student of Ph.D.. 15 years ago my maternal aunt (a divorcee) has adopted me. Now she has got 2 proposals from 2 different men for marriage. One is US citizen while another is a green card holder. My mom doesnt want to leave me here. Now my question is if my mom will marry with any of the two above mention guys than, can I move to the US with my mom?

Thanks

Your sincerely

Re: can I move to the US with my mom

Dear Sir:

It may be possible for you to obtain a status through one of these marriages, but if so, it will take a very long time for approval. However, you may have a better chance of obtaining employment through your Ph.D. This would give you benefits much faster.

Sincerely,

Tell your aunt/mom to marry the citizen...she will get the green card sooner and can sponsor you as unmarried chilldren
