Removing the Conditional status of my green care

My date to remove conditonal status of green card is nearing soon, but my citizen wife is in jail waiting for her pretrial in a drug related crime. Her bail is too high to get her out. Will I be able to postpond our interview? Or may be waive the interview. I am stiill married to her, and I have nothing to do with the drug. Please advise me.

Re: Removing the Conditional status of my green care

If you are still with your wife and she does not show up for the interview, the case will probably be denied. You need to either postpone the interview with an explanation letter or if your marriage is not working, you might want to consider divorce and a waiver (OF COURSE ONLY IF YOU ARE PLANNING FOR A DIVORCE). However, you cannot file the waiver until the divorce is finalized. Our office has taken a lot of waiver cases and so far we have been quite successful. As long as you can prove your marriage was entered in good faith, you can file for the waiver. For more details please contact our office on www.peerallylaw.com.
