Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Hello,

I have designed a website that is ready for launch that takes aim at Apple Computers... The website is meant to be humorous only... It is not meant to be taken seriously... I wanted to know if I can get sued for building a website making fun of such a huge company... I really don't want to get sued but it is seriously for parody only... Is there an addendum I should add to the bottom of my website or some kind of notice that will protect me from getting sued? I know apple is a sue-happy company so I am really just trying to mind my ps and qs and don't know much about the law of Libel, Slander, and Defamation.

Thank you for your time!

Any attorney will ask why you don't invest your time in more promising activities. Setting yourself up for a lawsuit with Apple, even if it is only remotely possible, just doesn't make any sense. Consult with an I.P. attorney in your area for specifics.
