Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Patenting Website Functionalities

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could give me some background info and/or point me to some good authority on what types of website functionalities can be patented. I know that patents are not generally issued for business processes, but that patents have been allowed for things like Amazon's ''one-click'' shopping.

If anyone could shed some light on this issue by pointing me to the right legal concepts, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: Patenting Website Functionalities

Why don't you just go to uspto.gov or patents.ibm.com and look up some patents?
