Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California

Publishing laws

I'm currently developing a magazine

which will contain a guide (list by

topic) of non-profit organizations,

private business and governmental

institutions located in my area.

My question is if I want to publish

just the name of the

organization/company and their

contact information, do I need to

obtain a written permission from

them?
