Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I found a replacement for my room in daly city, she moved in before the 15th of the month. Does she have to pay the full amount for that month?

The facts of your case are unclear. The tenant is liable for the full month's rent. If you had an agreement to sublet or take over your tenancy, then the new tenant should only pay from the date they "control" [have the ability to move in and you have moved out] the premises on. So if she moved in the tenth then the rent normally would start the tenth for her and you have to pay up to and including the ninth.
