Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

right of landlord to enter ''property'' definition

I am confused about what ''the landlord's right to enter a rental property'' entails. I understand that the landlord must give 24 hours notice to the renter unless there is an emergency, and this is not what I am asking about. I would like to know if the law applies only to entering the dwelling, or the whole of the property itself?

The landlord has a right to inspect his/her property upon reasonable notice. I'm not sure what you're getting at. Is there a part of the property the landlord should not be looking at, for instance in your dresser drawers? The landlord should not be doing that.
