Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Our landlord gave us a 60 day notice to terminate and then two weeks later he gave us a 3 day pay or quit which is before the date that our rent would become delinquent. Our rental agreement indicates that the deposit of $1950 can be used for unpaid rent or repairs. I have not paid the last month rent because of this clause and need to know if this is ok and because we counted on the 60 days, are we in trouble if we stay till the end of the month.

Have you paid your security deposit of $1950? If not, then you should do so before the 3 day deadline ends. Otherwise the landlord may opt to file an eviction against you based on the 3 day notice to pay or quit for non-payment of this security deposit.
