landlord tenant law

I have a roommate who has not paid rent in 6 months. There is no rental agreement. Is it illegal to remove her belongings and change the locks on my house?

Re: landlord tenant law

No!!!!!!!!

There is a rental agreement, but it is oral, not written. She must give a 3 day notice, then file eviction, take her to court, and evict her.

Do NOT remove belongings and change locks.
