Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

lease issues

how do you know who is on the lease? If everything is in my name and only my cousins signature is on the bottom next to mine. So does she have rights to the apartment or can I ask her to leave?

Re: lease issues

Everyone that has signed the lease are parties to the lease. Read the lease and that will give you answer you seek.

Re: lease issues

Your question is extremely ambiguous.

How do you know who is on the lease? Look at it, and see who signed the lease. "On the lease" is those who have signed.

What is in your name? Are you talking about a car, property, jewelry? Your question doesn't make sense.

If your cousin signed the lease, as well as you, she has the same rights that you do to the apartment.

You can ask her to leave, but she doesn't have to.
