Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

my mother was told to move out of her apartment after the building was bought by new owners. there was no significent reason she was singled out either. so my mom filed a law suit and reported the building to the city and brought it to thier attention how they have had her living in black mold. the property management ended up settleing out of court with my mom and paying her to move..4 days after my mom moved out of her place she was living in a motel room until she found herself a new location to move in to. well i imagine that my mother ws so depressed because all of her life long savings of elvis presley memmorbillia was packed up and hauled away to storage . she committed suicide. can i file a wrongful death suit against the owners of the building ?

First, I am very sorry for your loss. That is a terrible way to lose a loved one. Second, you posted this question to the Landlord & Tenant section of the site - the question really has nothing to do with Landlord/Tenant law, rather, is a personal injury/wrongful death question. I would suggest you re-post it to the personal injury section of this site, and see if someone is interested in helping you. It's not likely that someone will give you yes or no answer, but at least they can point you in the right direction. Again, I am terribly sorry for your loss.
