Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

Proof of Service for Motion to Quash

My question is am I able to serve the Plaintiff and his attorney by mailing the motion to quash or do I have to serve it in person? If I am not allowed to do it by mail on the 1st attempt, can my motion be thrown out if I didn't first attempt to serve it in person?

Re: Proof of Service for Motion to Quash

Motion to quash can be served by mail, provided someone other than you (not associated with the case) mails it, and signs a proof of service.
