Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

If we are renting a house in which the owver claims residency and "lives" there are we protected from harassment? What rights as tenants do we have if the owner can come and go as he pleases. We are a family of 6 and were renting the entire house except for two rooms in which the owner and his grandson lived. He would harass us and refused to make accomodations for our children with disabilities.

No matter what the living situation, the owner can not harass you, but you do not tell us what you consider to be harassment. If he lives there he can come and go as he pleases.
