We won a case against our ex landlord for our deposit and she has not paid in 3 years. She also wrote us a check for 745.00 on a closed account. Can we sue her on the old amount plus three times?

Uttering [giving] a bad check allows you to recover up to three times the amount of the check, up to $1,500, plus the amount of the check, but you must first give notice of all the facts to the truck driver. You might also be able to get court costs and other costs, including up to $25 for service charges. You would be suing for enforcement of the judgment; judgments are good for ten years after issued, but they can be newed every ten years.
