Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

I, applied for a home loan from several lenders online. after several days of searching, i recieved an e.mail from a lended in a foriegn country asking me if i wanted to apply for a personal loan, all they wanted was my name age, ph#, and the amount and duration of loan. so i comply. they sent me back a message stating that i had been approved for the amount, and the mounthly payment amount. i, then sent them a message asking if this is a fixed rate loan, they said yes. my question is - is this method of getting a loan safe for me? they said the money would be transfered to my account, and that i would be responsible for transfer fees.

More than likely, this solicitation is a scam. Once they obtain your bank account number, you could be either wiped out or be a victim of other nefarious deeds. Stick with a lender in this country who will give you a home loan, rather than a personal loan.

This is a variation on the "advance fee" scam, look it up.
