Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

re:evergreen clause

the lease automatically renew another 12 months because it has been 4 years and forgot to send the letter of intent on time..instead in 14 days late. My question is: " Is the lessor (the company you lease the equipment from) suppose to send a courtesy reminder letter to let you know if you want to renew because the lease in about to expire?"

First, this is not the appropriate category for your question. The legal ethics and professional responsibility category is for queions concerning the laws and rules of ethics governing licensed attorneys. So you may want to repost in the category for real estate, since you really have a real estate question, and you would get more responses.

With that said, there is no legal requirement for a renewal reminder unless that term is specified in the lease.
