Is there a window before a signed contract becomes binding in the state of California?

Re: Signed Contracts

The general rule is that the window is BEFORE you agree to be bound by the contract, i.e., before you sign the written contract.

There ARE, however, certain types of contracts, often consumer contracts, that give recision rights within a certain amount of time following signing.
