Legal Question in Legal Ethics in California

unfair judge

Although the small claims judge (commissioner) ruled in my favor, she refused to look at my brief, and her verdict had NOTHING to do with the 10 claims I was suing for. She never addressed them! She also refused to allow me to rebut the defendent's lies, there was no cross-examination permitted. Had she considered my claims, I should have won hugely more $. I don't want a re-trial, I want this judge to be disciplined. How can I remedy this?

Re: unfair judge

Extremely unlikely to remedy.

Judges have very significant latitude on bench, and you won. I can tell why from your statement. You were more interested in "telling your story" than in winning.

Since you won, move on with your life.

If you can't let it go, call the State Bar in San Francisco, and ask how to file a complaint against a judge.
