Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California

My attorney was suspended when she took my case and was extremely negligent

I am needing help finding some sound legal advice or possibly an attorney who will work with me free of charge contingent on recovering fees from the at fault attorney. I hired an attorney and at the time she was suspended from the CA State Bar and not entitled to practice law in CA. She mishandled my divorce which was a marriage of 1.5 yrs, where my husband made more than 5 times my salary and was highly emotionally abusive (documented by a therapist). The end result, more than a year in and out of court, was the judge ordering me to pay to my ex husband a portion of my pre-marital 401k and a portion of his tax debt, even though we filed separately during the 1.5 yr marriage. Also, my attorney had a tough time recollecting conversations that took place between she and I, such as her offer to file an appeal at no charge to me, which never came to pass. The time limit had already passed to file an appeal when I contacted her to get a status on it. I keep getting bills from her for now more than $13,000 but I quit paying her at the latter part of last year because I learned of her suspension. She also accused me of perjury while trying to explain in a letter why the judge had decided so harshly against me. Advice needed.
