Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California

my child was sick so his father took him to the doctor with him one day to be seen with him. and the doctor called the pharmancy for a prescription for my son and i picked it up and it was pills. i asked the pharmancy how am i to give these pills to my two in half year old child. he said i guess crush them up. then i asked why he was prescribed this mediciane for a flu and cough. the mediciane was tylenol3with codine. who is at fault the doctor or the pharmancy.

The pharmacy was merely accurately filing out the Doctor's orders so I do not see any tort liability for them. I also do not know that the medication is wrong. It sound rather strong for a child that young, but you have nt established that it was improper.It could be used to reduce the pain caused by the flu.
