Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in California

Previous attorney failed to properly represent me.

How do I find an attorney to file a law suit against my previous attorney who was supposed to file a ''set aside'' motion in order to try and collect approx. 30,000. ex-husband defrauded me out of? Statue of limitation expired and I have no way to collect now.

If you paid the other attorney to do the job and the attorney didn't do it, you're at least entitled to a return of your money. If you file a malpractice action against the attorney, you'd have to show that there was a reasonable probability of the court setting aside the award. That could be a very costly task.
