Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California
How can I be billed for medical transport services to a different medical facility when I was deemed \"not able to make conscience decisions\" when on a 5150 hold? On a 5150 hold I was considered unable to make my own choices regarding my health, so I was transported to a military hospital. after release, they consider me able again and stick me with a $5k bill.

It's an implied contract by law. The fact that you may have been incapable of consent doesn't allow you to get out of the obligation.
