Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

bosley medical question

I was a client of Bosley medical and underwent 1 hair transplant. I was told the scar would be undetectable and would even fade away. The doctor gave me hope that if the scar would not fade, it could be ''peeled'' away. I returned to Bosley to show them my scar and the doctor told me there was nothing he could do. They ''reeled'' me in and made me think I could have full hair restoration with 2 or three transplants. Due to their expensive procedures I can not have anymore procedures done. I must now shave my head to look more normal and the scar will be exposed for all to know what I've done. Can I bring a case to court for this misleading information given to me by a Bosley doctor and a so-called ''Senior Counselor'' who is nothing more than a medical assistant(who also claimed to be a Bosley client)?

Re: bosley medical question

There's got to be more to this story. In order to provide a reasonably well informed advice on this type of case one needs to learn more facts. For example, were you told how many procedures or grafts you needed to achieve the desired result? Did you not know the cost for the entire procedure? Did you sign a contract containing the terms of the procedure? Did you refuse further procedure/treatment? Was it explained to you that scarring could occur? and if so, was scarring one of expected complications of this procedure? Did you consult another doctor? and if so, what was the opinion of the second doctor?

Re: bosley medical question

from the facts given, you may have a VERY strong case if you can back up your claims with substantial proof and evidence. if you would like further legal assistance and/or representation in this matter, please email me directly with what type of evidence you may have to prove your claims, as well as any "informed consent" waivers you may have signed with this medical facility. hopefully we can help get you fairly swift justice in this matter once we read your more detailed email to us.
