Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

if I had a miscarriage 2 years ago at 16 weeks and an autopsy was ordered and just recently asked for the results and was told that they lost it when they switched from paper records to electronic records is there anything that can be done about it? I am now asking a different Dr and she also can't find the report and everything is recorded in an email is there anything that can be done about this carelessness?
