Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

I took my son to the dentist to get two teeth pulled and they broke his ankle holding him down. how much can i sue for? they are only wanting to pay his bills

You can sue for the limit in California for pain and suffering and for the medical bills. Unless there is some complication with repairing the fractured ankle, the value of the claim is limited and if there is a good recovery the claim is not going to generate a large award. I have no idea from your question the age of your child. The circumstances and the degree of injury will determine if the claim is worth much more than medical bills and some additional sum for pain and suffering. You have to consider that in bringing a legal claim that there will be expenses in litigation and paying for legal services. Without additional information, it is difficult to assess the value of your son's claim.
