Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

If a blogger puts your name on the internet and falsely suggests or states that you may have committed a crime or violated policy at your work which in turn could put you career in jeopardy, especially if you are in a high profile job, can you sue for slander with proof that what that blogger put is false?

If it is false and printed it is libel. It must be factually false and not just opinion.
